Can I book onLine?

Of course! Simply use our online booking system. It works on your pc, tablet or smartphone. Alternatively, send me an email at paddy@velopeloton.com.

How can I pay?

You can pay by credit card.

When can I collect and return the bike?

Bikes can be collect from 09:00 on the first day of rental and returned by 18:00 on the last day. Rental is by the day or part thereof.

We are normally closed on Sunday and Monday other than by appointment for collection and return.

What should I bring with me to collect the bike?

Please bring your passport for identification. No passport, no bike.
Bring your pedals if you have not rented pedals.

What is the reduced liability?

Reduced Liability
You are responsible for care and security of the bike during the rental. The road bikes are valued at €3000 each, which you will have to pay if the bike is stolen or completely written off. Reduce your liability to €400 by adding the optional liability reduction. Please be aware this relates to the rental bike only and does not offer any cover for loss or injury to yourself or third parties. You must acquire your own travel insurance for that.

Do you deliver?

No. Collect your rental bikes from the workshop in Ayzac-Ost. We are beside Aldi Supermarket, 1km from Argeles-Gazost, just past the animal park.

Workshop facilities?

Free wifi
Toilets are available in the workshop.
There is free parking directly in front of the shop.
In our workshop, we stock a range of accessories. Tyres, tubes, energy gels and bars, water bottles and souvenir jerseys.


Where can I get coffee?

Coffee, sandwiches, cakes and beer are available in our Coffee Shop. Throughout the summer we serve pasta meals in the afternoon (14h to 17h) when all other local cafes and restaurants have stopped serving. We show live cycling events on a large screen TV in HD with English commentary.

What are the rates

Half day rentals are not available to book in advance. On the day only. Half day is 4 hours max.

What comes with the bike?

All bikes will have a pump and a saddle bag with a repair kit, multi-tool and a spare tube.
All road bikes have 2 bottle cages.

Do you rent pedals?

Yes. Shimano SPD road and vtt/mtb and Look KEO compatible pedals for €2 per day.
You must be sure that you 
have the correct cleats on your shoes. If not they won’t work.

Flat pedals and pedals with straps are also available.

Do you rent helmets?

You should never rent a helmet. How do you know it’s any good? How do you know it has not been crashed or dropped?

That said, helmets are available for €2 per day, but I recommend that you bring your own.

Can I buy water bottles and energy gels?

We have a number of products available in our workshop, including, water bottles, tyres, tubes, brake blocks, jerseys, shorts, rain jackets, arm and leg warmers, gloves and energy bars and gels.
